Access Information

Urawa-Kyoritsu Campus is endowed with lush, spacious grounds year round, and students have convenient access to the nearby and surrounding parklands. This campus boasts athletic grounds, and tennis courts as well as a superb medicinal plant garden. The garden occupies about 3,500 m2 of this campus and has an essential collection of about 700 species of medicinal trees, shrubs and other plants labeled, so that visitors can always enjoy a large number of herbs and their flowers. The garden supports the teaching and research goals of the University by providing pharmacy students with an experimental field station for research activities in medicinal plant science. In addition, this campus is the site selected by the Japan Pharmacists Education Center for special certification training in Chinese herbal medicines and natural drugs.
